Alfa Romeo have made some revisions for the new 2014 version of the Giulietta. The Giulietta was released back in 2010 and this is the first updated version to be released. The main revisions for the new Giulietta affect the interior, exterior and a new 2.0L diesel engine. This car rivals the likes of the SEAT Leon, Ford Focus and VW Golf. The 2014 Alfa Romeo Giulietta is a very stylish looking car as you would expect, with the main exterior changes being to the front grille, alloy wheel design and headlights. The interior changes include new seats, new trims and the new 'Uconnect' media system. The new 2.0L diesel engine is more powerful and more economical than the previous version. It is 10bhp more powerful at 148bhp and has low CO2 emissions of 110g/km. In terms of fuel economy it offers an excellent 67.3mpg. This engine is capable of 0-62mph in 8.8seconds and has a top speed of 130mph. There are new trim levels for the 2014 model which are as follows: Progression, Distinctive, Exclusive and Sportiva Nav. If you would like to buy one of the new 2.0L diesel versions in Exclusive trim, you would be looking at a price of £22,170 and this engine would be coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This car is great to drive, it looks great and you will enjoy everything about it. In terms of storage space, it offers a boot space of around 350 litres, which is 34 litres larger than the Ford Focus. It is certainly worth considering if you have this sort of money to burn.
