The Fiat 500L is a mini MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) which is based on the Fiat 500 city car. The 500L was introduced in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show and was released in most international markets that year but not until the spring of 2013 in the UK. The 2014 version has some new engines available, new optional equipment and a new special edition variant. The new special edition version is the known as the 500L Beats which combines the leading technology with the stylish exterior design of the chunky 500L Trekking. This version is available in two tone grey/black colour which is available in either matte or gloss finish. Inside the vehicle is very classy with the premium Beats audio system, black fabric/eco-leather seats with '500' logos on the backrest and a grey dashboard panel which comes with climate control as standard. Have a look at the new 2014 Fiat 500L Beats edition in the video below: The new engines introduced for this vehicle are the 0.9L TwinAir Turbo 105bhp and 1.4L T-jet 120bhp petrol engines. There is also the two new 1.6L Multijet diesel engines which are available in 105 or 120bhp. The 1.2 L petrol engine offers around 40mpg with 159g/km CO2 emissions and the 1.6L diesel offers 61mpg with 120g/km CO2 emissions. The two new optional equipments are the 'premium pack' and 'Living Pack'. The premium pack offers £1,720 worth of luxury equipment at just £1,300. The living pack costs another £450 on top of the premium pack, which is a saving of £125.
