There were many negative things that people had to say about the fourth generation (2006-2014) Corsa including poor refinement, quality and comfort, but the new 2015 fifth generation Corsa has made significant improvements in all these areas. Not only has it made these improvements but it has also took great steps forward in terms of performance, efficiency and most importantly for the supermini class, cost. Although the dimensions are exactly the same as the previous version, the new 2015 Vauxhall Corsa has a new engine range, updated interior and suspension as well as an overall improvement in terms of quality. It has a new look front end including a wide mouth front grille and new rakish headlight design. Of the new available engines, the new 1.0L petrol is the one making the most noise. This new engine allows Vauxhall to compete with the 1.0L ecoBoost Ford Fiesta engine. This engine is available in either 89 or 113bhp. If low running costs are what you are looking for, then the 1.3L diesel is probably your best option. This offers around 88mpg and low CO2 emissions of 85g/km which means no road tax liable. This vehicle is low cost, in fact the entry level price begins at £8,995. What do you think of the new 2015 Vauxhall Corsa? Do you think it can seriously compete with the likes of the Ford Fiesta and VW Polo? Let us know what you think by leaving your comments in our comments box below.
