Peugeot has revealed their lineup for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. This lineup includes the following: The new 108 and 308 SW; the new 3 cylinder PureTech 1.2L petrol engine and the new Blue Diesel Hybrid HDi engine; and the following 4 concept cars: the 2008 Hybrid Air, RCZ R, 308 R and 208 T16 Pikes Peak. The new Peugeot 108 replaces the current 107 in the summer of 2014. The 108 will be unveiled for the first time at the show and has a lot to live up to with the 107 selling over 800,000 units since its introduction in 2005. The city car class currently holds 10% of the European market. The 108 will be available in 3 or 5-door variants and there will be a convertible version known as the 108 TOP!. The new 308 SW is the estate version of the extremely popular 308 hatchback small family car, and the 2014 version is an extremely stylish yet practical vehicle. The new 3 cylinder PureTech 1.2L petrol engine offers 130bhp and 109g/km CO2 emissions. The new Blue Diesel Hybrid HDi engine gives 120bhp and has a class leading 85g/km CO2 emissions. This engine is coupled to the 6-speed manual gearbox and comes with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and particle filter additive technology which reduces the pollutants by up to 90%. Peugeot aim to have all their HDi engines fitted with this technology. Of the four concept models on view, the 208 T16 Pikes Peak is the most eagerly anticipated of them all. This is the car that Sebastian Loeb broke the 20Km climb record in. Have a look at the short preview video below for the 208 T16 Pikes Peak: The Peugeot 2008 Hybrid Air, RCZ R, 308 R will also show the technological, environmental and emotional design intentions of Peugeot.
