Hyundai i30 Overview

The Hyundai i30 is a small family car which is produced by the South Korean automobile manufacturing company Hyundai. The i30 has been in production since 2007 and is available in hatchback and estate variants. It has been produced over two generations, with the current version released in 2012. The current version is a very well designed car which has stylish looks and has extremely good reliability. It is also a very practical car which has amazing safety features. This version has incredibly good fuel economy and it is very well equipped and comfortable. There is not much to say that is bad about this car, but a brand new one can be pretty expensive. Hyundai i30 History

The first generation (2007-2012) was released in 2007 and is built at the Hyundai factory in Germany. This vehicle is built on the same platform as the Kia Cee'd and was available in 5 or 6 speed manual and 4-speed automatic. There is also a wide variety of engines available. The second generation (2012-present) has improved design features, being much more stylish looking than the previous version. It also has improved safety features and is available with 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic gearboxes. This is the current version on the market. The engines on this version have very low emissions and competes with the best in this class.

The Hyundai i30 has been available in the following engines: 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0L petrol or 1.6 and 2.0L diesel engines. The diesel engines are the most economical and the 1.6L version offers around 76mpg which is really good. Which engine do you have and how does it perform economically?
