Audi TT Coupe Overview
The Audi TT Coupe is classed as a sports coupe which is produced by the German automobile manufacturing company Audi, which is part of the Volkswagen Group. The TT Coupe was first introduced in 1998 and is currently in the second generation model. The TT Coupe has been a very popular choice since its introduction onto the world market. They are great fun to drive and stylish looking little cars. They are great performance cars which handle really well and are also very reliable. They also have the top Audi build quality and safety features but they do lack space in the rear and can be quite costly to buy. Does this sound like your experience of the TT Coupe?
Audi TT Coupe History
The first generation (1998-2006) was built on the Volkswagen Group A4 platform, the same as the Audi A3 and VW Golf of this era. The design was the same as the concept car which was shown in 1994. There was a recall between late 1999 and early 2000 to fix a problem with the handling at high speeds.
The second generation (2006-present) gave the TT Coupe a slightly new look, whilst maintaining the now familiar TT look. It has some sharper styling and is built on the Volkswagen Group A5 platform. This is the current version in production.

The Audi TT Coupe is available with 1.8, 2.0, 2.5 or 3.2L petrol and 2.0L diesel
