The production version of the Suzuki iv-4 is expected for 2015. The iv-4 concept was first unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and it is a compact SUV which is expected to compete with the likes of the Nissan Juke. The concept version is a very neat looking compact SUV and the production version is expected to be much the same. We are expecting the production version to be unveiled later this year, and there have been rumours that it will be officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The new iv-4 will be larger than the Suzuki Jimny but smaller than the Grand Vitara. The concept version measured in at 4215mm long, 1850mm wide and 1665mm high, making it one of the smallest vehicles in the compact SUV class. It is expected to be available in several different equipment levels and have some bright 'youthful' colours available. The iv-4 production version will be built on a new platform and will be produced at the Suzuki factory in Hungary. It will be available in petrol and diesel engines, but it is still unclear exactly what engines will be used. The petrol engine is expected to be either the 1.4 or 1.6L version. We are looking forward to the release of the iv-4 and want to see if it can seriously compete with the class leading Nissan Juke. Suzuki are also expected to release a new city car in 2015 which will replace both of their Alto and Splash models. What do you think of the iv-4 concept and would you be interested in owning one?
