The 2014 New York Auto Show is set to take place this week from 18-27 April and we are taking a look at what we can expect from Honda at the show. At the recent NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) in January, Honda unveiled the 2015 Honda Fit. It is expected at the New York Auto that Honda are to show many different brightly coloured versions of the vehicle. Honda will also be showing off their latest version of their humanoid robot ASIMO. This robot is making its debut on TV tonight in the LIVE with Kelly and Michael show. This robot is capable of sign language in both Japanese and English, and the new version has improved on such things as running and climbing stairs. Satoshi Shigemi is the senior chief engineer of the robot and he had this to say about the latest generation: “ASIMO was designed to help those in society who need assistance, and Honda believes that these improvements in ASIMO bring us another step closer to our ultimate goal of being able to help all kinds of people in need.” Many rumours have been circulating about the new Hondo HR-V and Honda are expected to make an announcement at the show as to the exact compact SUV which will be joining the line-up later on this year. Do you expect the new HR-V to be unveiled at the show? What do you think of the new Fit? What are your views on ASIMO? Let us know by leaving your comments in our comments box below.
