Hyundai i40 Overview

The Hyundai i40 is a large family car which is produced by the South Korean automobile manufacturing company Hyundai. It has been in production since 2011 and is available as a 4-door saloon and a 5-door estate. This car is very spacious inside and the estate version has a very large storage space in the rear of the vehicle. All models of the i40 are very well equipped and offer amazing safety features and extremely good reliability. Like all Hyundai cars, this one also has the fantastic 5 year warranty. The range of engines offer good performance and it has reasonably good handling. As can be seen from what is written above, there is not much wrong with this car at all. It is well placed to compete with the class leaders. Does this sound anything like your experience of the i40?

Hyundai i40 History

The Hyundai i40 was released in 2011 for the 2012 model and is built primarily for the European market. It is designed at the Hyundai factory Russelheim, Germany but manufactured in South Korea. It shares its platform with the North American marketed Hyundai Sonata and due to this, it is not available in this market. It was originally available as an estate, with the saloon version released in 2012. This car has the Hyundai 'fluidic sculpture' design and received the full 5 stars in the Euro safety tests.
