BMW M3 Overview
The BMW M3 is a high performance compact executive car produced by the German car manufacturing company BMW. The M3 is the high performance version of the BMW 3-series and has been available as a coupe, saloon or convertible. The M3 was first introduced in 1986 on the E30 3-series and is still in production to this day. These cars have great performance and are extremely quick. They handle really well, are well refined and extremely well built. They are very greedy on the fuel and the tyre wear happens quickly but are also well equipped, spacious, comfortable and have great safety features. BMW M3 History
The E30 (1985-92) was the second generation of the 3-series range and was released in 1982. It was in 1985 that the first M3 was released with a 2.3L petrol engine. The M3 had a more aerodynamic body, better suspension, gearbox and brakes than the other 3-series cars. The E36 (1992-99) had a more powerful 3.0L engine and in 1995 had an upgrade to the 3.2L engine. The E36 was known for its great handling and amazing performance.
The E46 (2001-06) had a more powerful 3.2L engine which was the highest spec engine ever produced by BMW for a production car. This version was very stylish and the saloon version was dropped for the E46. The E90/92/93 (2007-present) had a new 4.0L V8 engine and was again nothing like the standard 3-series models. This is the current version in production.

The BMW M3 has been available in 2.3, 3.0, 3.2 and 4.0L petrol engines. These
